The Possession ending explanation

The Possession movie ending is intense. We never suspect the twist ending until we see the scene unfold. It is not your typical exorcism movie ending. However, The Possession ending is well executed. If you haven't watched The Possession movie, beware that we are spoiling the movie end.

In The Possession movie, we have a happy ending. It appears that way, especially when we see Clyde joining his family again. Em's possession represents a conflict that resolves the broken bond  

Tzadok drives down the street in Clyde's BMW. He calls Clyde to return the car. Clyde tells Tzadok to keep the car. He has immediate plans to leave home. 

Obviously, the demonic possession experience reunites the family. We find the happy ending short lived. The quiet residential street seems suspicious. Nobody is around. It is too calm. 

Tzadok is driving with the Dibbuk box next to him. At the end of the street, a truck crushes the BMW. There is nothing remaining of the luxury car. Tzadok dies instantly in a tragic accident. 

People try to help. Hebrew chanting fills the space. We pan down the street, where car debris line the road. The female chanting gets louder until we see the wooden Dibbuk box again. 

Why did the Dibbuk box survive? If you remember back to the exorcism scene, Tzadok forgets to put the ring into the box. The ring is the first possession Em removes from the box and places on her finger. It is the most important possession inside the Dibbuk box. He leaves the ring outside of the box. The exorcism fails because all possessions are supposed to be replaced.  

The Dibbuk box will continue to terrorize people again. It may make its way back to an older Em. The demon spirit is so evil, it can find Em in any place. Another person will open the demon box to unleash the evil spirit.   

 

The Possession ending

Tzabok performed the great Jewish exorcism to exorcise the female demon spirit. The demon Abizou, who is the taker of children, is casted back into the Dibbuk box. 

The ring drops on the ground. Tzabok picks up the ring. He places a white linen over the demon box.  

Clyde stays at his former home. He opens up the refrigerator. Stephanie watches Clyde, reminiscing of their past marriage. Clyde begins to cough. Stephanie is terrified since she remembers that a demon spirit crawled out of his mouth. 

Clyde and Tzabok talk on the phone. Tzabok wants to return the car. However, Clyde tells him to keep the car. He has no plans to go anywhere. the Dibbuk box rests on the passenger seat. 

Tzabok drives down a residential street. We fear the worse, as the demonic possession is not over yet. Once crossing an intersection, a truck strikes the BMW and crushes the vehicle. 

Bystanders search the wreckage for survivors. Car debris spread across the road, a horrific accident with a fatal outcome. Unfortunately, the end of the movie reveals to us the demon spirit voice again. 

The demon box projected to side of the road. A voice echoes out of the box to convey the exorcism failed to contain the taker of children. We reflect back to the ring, one last possession that was left out to close the exorcism story. Not all possessions were placed into the demon box. 

The Possession movie ends with a twist ending. 

  

The Last Exorcism 2 update

The Last Exorcism 2 movie is currently in post-production. The exorcism movie is due out in 2012 or 2013. The Last Exorcism earned over $40 million in the domestic box office.

Exorcism fans are ready to watch another good exorcism movie. The Last Exorcsim 2 will satisfy their demon desires to see another exorcist perform an exorcism on the possessed Nell.

The Possession enters wide release on August 31, 2012. Two exorcism movies reached the box office in 2012. Exorcism Diaries is also on tap for 2013. Hollywood finally realized the need to produce exorcsim movies.

The Possession is a movie about a young girl who unleashes an evil demon spirit. Em buys an old box at a garage sale. Her father tells her that whoever sealed the box doesn't want it be opened. As usual, children never listen. Em opens the box and plays with the personal artifacts. As a result, she takes possession of the demon spirit.

A demon in box is an intriguing concept that is based on a true story of an evil spirit brought to the United States in a box. Every owner of the box experienced bad fortune, which several reported having extremely bad nightmares and bad health, heard weird sounds, and smelled unpleasant things. In the box, there is said to be personal items that are similar to what we see in The Possession movie.

According to the Spiritual Research Foundation (2012), ghosts and demon spirits of the opposite sex can possess humans. A female spirit thus can take possession of a male body. The same process is possible with a male spirit possessing a female body. These spirits can be attached to furniture, jewelry, boxes, and other personal artifacts. This explains the demon in the box origin. Evil demons await vulnerable human souls to possess.

The Possession is based on a true story, while the The Devil Inside movie is faux. In The Possession movie, there is at least backstory to pinpoint the demon in a box. The Possession is based on a true story. In a skeptical world, the true story and real facts are loosely based on a box and an evil spirit. We plan to conduct research on the movie's marketing campaign to introduce The Possession as real. The Possession movie is due to make its box office debut in 5 weeks. In our opinion, The Possession conveys possession far better than what we anticipated in The Devil Inside movie. The Devil Inside movie failed to understand demonic possession. Their filmmakers relied on multiple demonic possession to carry the movie.

Bad word of mouth spread around about the poor movie ending. Moviegoers got duped into believing the Maria Ross 1989 murders were real. In the upcoming The Possession, exorcism movie fans are treated to a genre movie based on a true story.

A father buys his young daughter a sealed wooden box at a garage sale. The young girl is excited to open this box. Her father indicates that whomever sealed the box didn't want anyone to open it. Once the young girl opens the old box, an evil spirit enters her vulnerable body to possess her soul.

We must tell you now that The Possession trailer is freaky. The chilling music makes your skin crawl. Most people avoid these exorcism movies because they fear possession is possible. The malicious spirit possesses the young girl, endangering every person close to her. Her family must rush to save her fragile young spirit.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose released in 2005 depicted the exorcism of Anneliese Michel, a 22 German girl who suffered from what is known as multiple demonic possession. We prepared many exorcism articles that detail the history of Anneliese Michael on this website.

The Possession is eerie. One evil spirit is as scary as four demon spirits in The Devil Inside movie. The Devil inside fails to name the demon spirits possessing Maria Rossi. Even further, the filmmakers never reveal the demons that possess Isabella Rossi. Their poor movie ending leaves nothing open to the imagination.

The Possession movie trailer is eerie

The Possession is due out in theaters on August 31, 2012. The Possession features one of the most creepiest movie trailers I watched in quite some time. Every time I watch The Possession trailer, my hair stands up and my face tingles.

The exorcist movie is freaky as Hell. Finally, we have another exorcism movie to reach mainstream status in 2012. I believe The Possession will give back what The Devil Inside cheated us out of - one last exorcism. Word of mouth will make The Possession a major hit.

I hope The Possession movie is as good as the movie trailer. After reviewing the movie trailer again, the devil music in the background is disturbing. Most exorcist movie fans will find The Possession creepy. Seeing the girl act like Damien in The Omen is enough to spook you out. There is something eerie about exorcism movies, especially when the central character is a young girl.

Rec 2 exorcist movie

Rec 2 is a Spanish movie released in 2009. Most movie fans haven't heard of Rec 2. In our opinion, the REC 2 producers would probably like to forget about their demon/exorcist movie.

According to IMDb, Rec 2 cost 4.5 million pounds and made a sub-par $27,024 in the opening weekend. REC 2 is a decent exorcist movie with Church exorcist performing an exorcism on possessed subjects. REC 2 is a decent movie about demonic possession and exorcisms.

We watched Rec 2 last summer on RedBox. The first thought that came to mind is how close this demon movie resembles Quarantine. A Spanish SWAT team enter the quarantined apartment unit.

REC 2 leaves right off where REC ends. A Spanish reporter, infected residents and EMS team are trapped inside the apartment building. These infectious hostages are feared dead. The SWAT team and a medical officer enter the quarantined apartment building. We question whether we are watching the Spanish Quarantine movie.

Exorcism movie fans should give REC 2 a trial run. We plan to prepare a future REC 2 movie review, reveal spoilers, and discuss the movie ending. REC 2 serves up a clever twist ending.

The Devil Inside Movies Rakes in $16.9 million on Friday: The Devil Inside Surprise Friday Night showing

The Devil Inside movie is set to finish number #1 at the movie box office, dethroning Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol as the box office leader. The exorcism movie collected $2 million at Thursday midnight showings. Friday night moviegoers surprised the movie world with generating $16.9 million in ticket sales. Weekend box office estimates place The Devil Inside movie anywhere between $40-50 million.

The Devil Inside launched The Rossi Files. Thus, exorcisms are gaining much deserved attention. The Devil Inside movie depicts two exorcisms with foul language and backbreaking and twisting scenes. It is safe to say that the Devil Inside exorcism movie is dark evil. Maria Rossi exorcism consists of casting out multiple demons. Taping an exorcism proves to be fatal in the latter scenes.

The exorcism movie portrays the real life exorcism of Anneliese Michel. The Maria Rossi character assumes the name of a real life murderer, who brutally killed an innocent elderly neighbor. The Devil Inside movie integrates two themes together to create disturbing terror.

The Devil Inside possesses the competition to levitate atop the Weekend Box Office

The first exorcism movie of 2012 The Devil Inside surprises the movie industry, showing that good movie marketing can generate an estimated $34.5 million in ticket sales. The Devil Inside movie tossed Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol from the top position with executing a unique documentary shooting style in capturing staged exorcisms.

The Devil Inside depicts the exorcism of Maria Rossi, a fictional character involved in a triple murder in Hartford, Connecticut. The exorcisms performed in the movie resemble Anneliese Michel, a German Catholic girl who died after enduring recurring exorcisms. The death of Anneliese sparked widespread controversy, as the two exorcists and Anneliese's parent were tried in an exorcism murder trial.

Paramount's can be proud of their $1 million exorcism movie making 34.5 times the production budget in the first weekend alone. Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible movie recently finished as the box office leader in previous two weeks. The Devil Inside managed to make $34.5 million on 2,285 screens. Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol placed second with another strong performance, scoring $20.5 million in ticket sales.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows delivered $14.1 million in ticket sales, good for a good three place finish at the movie box office. Coming in fourth place, the consistent A Girl with A Dragon Tattoo generated $11.3 million in ticket sales. David Fincher murder thriller appears to be gathering steam for possible Academy Award nominations. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked finished in fifth place with $9.5 million in ticket sales, bringing the estimated total to $111.6 million.

Running strong after the holiday box office, the War Horse seized $8.6 million in ticket sales to score sixth place in the weekend box office. We Bought a Zoo, also another holiday movie arranged for seventh place finish with $8.5 million in ticket sales, narrowly finishing below War Horse. The Adventures of Tintin collected $6.6 million in ticket sales in its third week in domestic release to finish in eighth place in the weekend box office.

With the passing of New Year's Eve, the ensemble New Year's Eve movie made $3.3 million in ticket sales to land in the ninth spot. Lastly, the costly end of the world movie The Darkest Hour descended downward with a meager $3.1 million in ticket sales. Shooting a good ending can help a future Alien movie enjoy a better box office showing. Next week, The Devil Inside will compete up against Contraband and Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol in another attempt to repossess the box office once again.

Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes

Jude Gernad Prest's Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes movie opens up with Anneliese Michel speaking in evil tongues. The exorcism movie attempts to recreate The Exorcism of Anneliese Michel. As most exorcism movie fans know, Anneliese Michel died on July 1, 1976, seven years after she experienced an eerie sleep paralysis episode that marked the beginning of her possession. Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes is obviously better than The Devil Inside movie that does a poor job in covering the truth about exorcisms.

Anneliese Michel (played by Nikki Muller) is a young 23 year old German woman who had experienced several exorcisms per week between 1975-1976. The Church of Wurzburg authorized two exorcists to exorcise the dozen demons that occupied Anneliese. The film opens up with Anneliese Michel speaking in German in an evil voice that resembles most exorcism movies. 

A documentary film crew, a doctor, and a scientist visit the Michel residence. The physician is worried about Anneliese's well-being. After a disagreement is resolved, Anneliese appears out of nowhere, obviously dazed and confused. She urinates on the floor. The documentary film crew, physician, parents, and the Church exorcists are shocked to imagine the pain Anneliese is experiencing. 

Anneliese begins to lick her urine. This is an actual recreation of the events that took place between 1975-1976. Anneliese's condition worsened once the Church initially agreed she required faith and medical treatment rather than an exorcism to exorcise the multiple demons residing in her physical body.

The documentary filmmakers set up cameras throughout the Michel home to monitor the young girl. Many hardcore horror movie and exorcism movie fans will think this documentary portraying The Exorcism of Anneliese Michel shows bad production value at its worst. 

Nonetheless, true horror movie fans will give the Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes a change. There are several scenes that will inject fear into moviegoers. The switch between old and footage adds a unique touch to the exorcism movies. The Titanic (1997) movie made this film technique quite popular, though we have seen it done many times since the advent of technicolor in film. 

Anneliese experienced multiple demonic possession. In the initial viewing, you will see Anneliese's condition deteriorate over time. The filmmakers meet the same fate as the previous exorcism movies with documentary themes. Give Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes a shot, and then read the articles on Exorcism Movies to compare the real events and the movie facts. There are many similarities in the movie that are related to true events of The Exorcism of Anneliese Michel.

The Last Exorcism movie review

The Last Exorcism (2010) is 10 times better than The Devil Inside movie. If you want to watch a real exorcist movie that is eerie, Daniel Stamm's The Last Exorcism will scare the Hell out of you. The exorcist movie is no joke, especially with presenting the mystery drawing that predicts the fate of the documentary crew in the frightening movie ending. The Last Exorcism movie resembles The Blair Witch Project.

The Last Exorcism is set in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Minister Cotton Marcus (played Patrick Fabian) has Bill Clinton's charisma and charm to woo the church crowd. His religious followers trust his preaching. Cotton's father raised him to become a minister.

We can see Cotton is an entertainer rather than a firm believer in the Lord. The moviegoer eventually feels that one day karma will pay a visit to this fraud. The moviegoer doesn't fault the depiction of this character as a slime bag. Reverend Cotton hires a documentary film crew (Iris and Daniel) to make a story about his life.

We begin to see the manipulation that goes on in the church scene. Church followers seem to believe anything the church preaches. However, Cotton is a good guy with a good family. His reverend father shares that he has performed 150 exorcisms in his lifetime. Books about the devil and demons are shown to the camera.

Cotton explains to the documentary crew about the backstory of Lucifer. He claims he does not believe in demons while performing exorcisms. It is about his survival rather than exorcising the demons inside the possessed. Cotton is making the documentary to expose the fraud in exorcisms.

Cotton accepts a request to perform an exorcism on a young 16-year girl Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell). Nell's father Louis Sweetzer (played by Louis Herthum) requests Reverend Cotton to perform an exorcism on his daughter due to his livestock getting slaughtered. The son Caleb Sweetzer (Caleb Landry Jones) is punk that has an attitude problem.

We see the realism in the staged exorcist movie. The documentary style builds value into the characters. The emotion Nell exhibits while discussing her mother holds realism. Cotton investigates the Sweetzer family to perform the exorcism on Nell.

Cotton prays to Nell to find out the demon. The water is supposed to represent a sign. Cotton, "I was afraid of this. We will proceed with the exorcism" movie line. It is somewhat cheesy, but effective to convince the father of the demon's identity. Cotton informs the father that the only salvation from the demon can come in death unless he perform an exorcism.

The staged exorcism demonstrates the fraud of Cotton at work. This character is consistent with manipulating people with his influence. Nell believes she is possessed then, when in fact she is really possessed.  During the exorcism, the possessed doesn't reveal the demon name.  

The exorcism is a sham to make money. Cotton reveals his tricks to make Nell and the father think there is an demon residing inside the poor young girl. The false exorcism does become a real possession. We feel we are watching The Exorcist (1973) movie all over again. Cotton makes up the Lord communicating through him to fix Louis.

Cotton and his documentary team stay at a local motel five miles out. Nell wonders off into the motel. She begins to act strange. Nell hurts her brother. She chokes a doll. She kills a cat. The scary scene is the movie is when Cotton and the crew find a prophecy picture of them all meeting their end.

The music is quite freaky to enhance the scariest scenes. The last exorcism scene will make a new believer out of Cotton. He must believe in the Devil to exorcise the demon he defrauded Louis previously. The actual demon Cotton shows in the book resides in Nell. The Exorcism of Emily Rose comes to mind since the barn scenes are similar. Cotton is shocked out of his mind, the fear obviously plastered all across his face.  

The ultimate movie ending is intense. Everything we think of the last exorcism scene becomes even worse. The moviegoer will refer back the prophecy to connect with the end. Expect to watch a frightening ending that resembles The Blair Witch Project.

Watch The Last Exorcism with caution. This exorcist movie is the real deal. Whereas The Last Exorcism is a fake documentary, the film writing and directing are consistent with the movie plot. The moviegoer can expect to be frightened with the Insidious type music, special effects, and the sound effects. The mind blogging The Last Exorcism movie ending is worth time watching the entire film. We see the past archaeology excavation, fully understanding that the transfer of demons is possible through an evil artifact. We also witness a horrific scene in which a group of hyenas or wolves rip apart the flesh of a young boy. The possessed brother freezes in some sort of trance, unable to snap out of the traumatic moment to save his older brother. The pack attack is a grizzly scene, conveying that anything bad is possible in the face of the Devil. 

In the last scene, the priest/exorcist must perform an exorcism on a woman in a dark cave. She says the nastiest things to interfere with the priest's faith. Demons enjoy dark regions because their evil can manifest. The demonic possessed woman could bend her joints, crawl on the rock ceiling, and change her face into an evil demon. The scene makes many moviegoers feel claustrophobic in the narrow dark cave. The Exorcist: The Beginning is one of the best demonic possession movies.

The Devil Inside movie opens with a 911 phone call. Maria Rossi informs the 911 operator there are 3 dead people. The 911 operator is confused about the emergency. Maria claims to have killed 3 people.  The actual Maria Rossi audio dialogue from The Devil Inside movie is shown below:

In my opinion, the actual 911 call from The Devil Inside movie is staged. The 911 operator seems too passive, failing to investigate the events which transpired in the Maria Rossi home. This dialogue is written to build suspense with a beginning, middle and end structure to set an eerie tone. 

The Devil Inside filmmakers mixed Hollywood fiction with facts to feed the demand. Thus, moviegoers leave The Devil Inside movie questioning the realism of the actual events. Who is Maria Rossi? Did Maria Rossi murder two priests and a nun while undergoing an exorcism? Are we supposed to believe that priests/exorcists are performing unauthorized exorcisms without the Church's approval?  

The Maria Rossi 911 call is a good marketing vehicle to promote The Devil Inside movie. Future moviegoers will watch the exorcism movie based on the ambiguous murder and exorcism events. We tend to think that documentary films convey realism to make such events appear real. The Devil Inside movie depicted the Maria Rossi 911 call as an actual murder event which took place on October 30, 1989. Multiple demonic possession occurs when several demon possess a subject simultaneously. The Devil Inside movie depicts Maria Rossi as an insane woman with major signs of demonic possession. Nevertheless, the Maria Rossi exorcism explores a Hollywood fictional name rather than detailing the real life exorcism of Anneliese Michel.

Maria Rossi exorcism explores multiple demonic possessions. The real life exorcism victim is Anneliese Michel. Thus, the Maria Rossi exorcism is based on true events associated with the religious controversy surrounding the Anneliese Michel exorcism.

Anneliese Michel was a German girl raised in a Catholic family (Monstrous.com, 2011). She suffered from a severe psychological condition. Lealos (2012) noted the Church attempted to exercise the demon from the possessed girl. In result, Anneliese died from complications attributed to the strenuous exorcisms that took a toll on her health condition. Anneliese underwent two exorcisms a week, lasting from September 1975 up until the night before her eventual death on July 1, 1976 (Unity Publishing, 2012). The 1969 events may represent the source to multiple demons possessing Anneliese Michel.

Anneliese Michel's diagnosis is mistakened as a severe medical condition related to "depression and epilepsy" (Lelos, 2012). The Devil Inside movie conveys Maria Rossi as a mentally disturbed woman. Another truth to the exorcism case is that the Church authorized the exorcism, but then later denied the exorcism request to succumb Anneliese to continued psychiatric treatment (Monstrous, 2012). The Church must authorize exorcisms to determine whether an individual qualifies to undergo an exorcism to seek healing. Anneliese's worsening condition at home proved to change the Church's decision. The Church required immediate exorcisms to remove the multiple demons possessing Anneliese Michel.  

Anneliese's parents and two priests agreed to perform the authorized exorcism on Anneliese Michel. At the request of the Bishop of Wurzburg, Josef Stangl, Father Arnold Renz and Pastor Ernst performed the "Great Exorcism" (Unity Publishing, 2012, The Exorcisms section par. 5).  Hence, the Anneliese Michel exorcisms later had adverse effects on her health condition, resulting in her eventual death. The evidence heard in the audio tapes had a dramatic impact on the verdict (Getler, 1978). As a result, the parents and priests were prosecuted for negligent homicide, though the convicted never received any jail time.

Maria Rossi is a real life girl who murdered her elderly neighbor. According to the UK's The Independent, MacDonald (1993) indicated that two adolescents, Maria Rossi and Christina Molloy, brutally murdered their elderly neighbor Edna Phillips. In the newspaper report, the murder provoked an uprising of 300 people who "stoned the Rossi house" (MacDonald, 1993, par. 9). Moreover, the Rossi family attracted vandalism on their various properties.

The local reaction toward the Rossi family continued to worsen, making the case sound like a "not guilty verdict" in the Casey Anthony trial. Any person somehow related to the Rossi clan experienced the wrath of the angry locals. In The Devil Inside movie, Maria Rossi is depicted as a troubled soul. In real life, Maria had to be possessed to butcher an old woman who once adored her as a child. The combination of two real life events (exorcism leading to death and a psychotic adolescent murderer) energized The Devil Inside movie plot.        

The Devil Inside movie depicts the exorcism of Maria Rossi, portraying the Anneliese Michel exorcism which is believed to derive from multiple demonic possession. The Anneliese Michel exorcism is also depicted in The Exorcism of Emily Rose movie. It is suggested that Anneliese died from the effects of the exorcisms; however, the young woman wrote a letter to the Church to ask the exorcisms to stop (Unity Publishing, 2012). Anneliese accepted one of the Virgin Mary's choices to remain possessed up until the moment she passed away July 1, 1976. Exorcism movies delve into the demonic world to show that demons and the Devil are indeed real. We question the balance between good and evil. Will God save us? Can we defeat a demon possession without the Church? The court system took another route in prosecuting Anneliese's parents and the two priests connected to the exorcism murder case. The court system viewed the penalties differently, neither giving the convicted parents and the priests jail time.

Maybe The Devil Inside is depicting Casey's Imaginary Friends, who are actually multiple demons possessing Casey Anthony. Even though the court system found Casey Anthony innocent of murdering  her daughter, we still question the truth. Who would murder a child and dump the small body in a shallow ditch down the street? It takes pure evil to perform such a hideous act. Casey's Imaginary Friends could be identified as multiple demons possessing the young Casey Anthony.      

The Devil Inside movie team realized the mainstream advantage in dramatizing real life events. Thus, the mockumentary film inspired the divide between the Church and the legal system in performing exorcisms. The Maria Rossi exorcism is a fictional event, though the plot conveys various true facts acquired from the exorcism of Anneliese Michel and the Maria Rossi psychotic murder of an elderly woman Edna Phillips in the U.K. Anneliese was once a beautiful young girl before she experienced a mental illness and possible multiple demonic possession, and then died during vigorous exorcisms the Church authorized to free her soul. May Anneliese's soul rest in peace.

The Devil Inside movie ending: How The Devil Inside movie ending disappointed moviegoers

The crowded movie theater was filled to maximum capacity. Moviegoers invested 87 minutes of their time to watch The Devil Inside movie. The high point of tension put moviegoers on the end of their seats. The Devil Inside movie ending disappointed the entire movie theater.

Moviegoers complained the movie ending ruined the entire movie. Filmmakers and the screenwriter seemed to rush the movie ending in the same way as The Darkest Hour movie. We expected to see a movie ending with some sort of resolution. However, The Devil Inside movie ending left moviegoers hanging.

Moviegoers complained about the movie ending, mentioning they wanted a refund. You could hear the sighs of disbelief radiating throughout the movie theater. Have you ever watched a movie that ended before resolving the plot? The Devil Inside is one of those movies that reaches near a climax, and then just stops. If The Devil Inside was a sexual encounter, both parties would extremely disappointed.

The Devil Inside movie ending raced to help Isabella. We thought the movie ending would show one last exorcism like The Rite movie. In The Rite movie, the young priest performs an exorcism on another priest to rid his body of a demon.

The Devil Inside movie took us inside a car with a possessed Isabella. All of a sudden, Isabella transfer her possession to the cameraman driver. He removes his seat-belt, and then crashes into another car. Isabella, Ben, and the cameraman die in a vicious car accident. The movie credits begin rolling.

We have a movie ending that seemed would end with one last exorcism to free the demon from Isabella. Instead, we are left hanging with a bad movie ending with no clear resolution. The Devil Inside hooked us, making the expected resolution an exited movie ending.

Ending The Devil Inside with a car accident is an ineffective way to resolve the plot. The Darkest Hour movie ending also tricked moviegoers with a bad ending. The two movies released two weeks apart show that filmmakers misunderstood basic dramatic structure. In retrospect, the exorcism movie delivered a bad movie ending.
