The Last Exorcism 2 is in post-production

On a shoestring production budget of $2 million, The Last Exorcsim delivered $40,995,000 in domestic ticket sales. As a result, the exorcsim movie opened up doors to fuel a sequel. Whereas the main lead Cotton Marcus is now deceased, the main female lead Nell is alive and well. The Last Exorcism 2 is in post-production.

The movie distributor handing the release of The Last Exorcism has not announced the release date. We suspect the movie may arrive in movie theaters this October 2012 to compete up against Silent Hill: Revelations 3D, or the movie could be set to be released in January, the same time The Devil Inside arrived this past January 6, 2012. 

In the meantime, the exorcism movie is top secret. No plot summary is available yet. We have read some excerpts that provide minor detail of the plot. Nell is going to require medical treatment due to giving birth to some demon baby. Her psychotic devil worshipper brother Chris is also returning again.

Chris decapitated the camera man in The Last Exorcism. The movie ending is an eerie tale that Nell predicted in her drawings. We thought The Last Exorcism had a good ending, though many horror movie fans disagree. In the movie ending, you assume the movie is over. However, Cotton and his crew question a cafe worker. 

The Cotton team return back to the Sweetzer house. They discover a devil worshipping ritual taking place. The movie ending is frightening and eerie. We think back to the drawings, the prediction came to realization in the falling action. Cotton, Iris and Daniel die the exact way as predicted in the drawings.  

As shown in most exorcism cases, the possessed are capable of clairvoyance. Thus, demonic possession enables the possessed to read thoughts, predict events, and talk in multiple tongues. This is the main reason moviegoers dislike exorcism movies dealing with evil demon spirits. The Exorcism of Emily Rose is another scary exorcism movie in which Emily Rose is possessed by several demons, including the Devil himself. 

Demons and the Devil are believed to possess humans. Naysayers will reject possession, but there is past evidence to prove otherwise that invisible invaders will target vulnerable subjects and or another firm believer to reveal their evil presence. In 2005, the Catholic Church required all Bishops in the United States to be assigned an exorcist.
